Summary
In April 2007, Dot and Jim were in Kent when Dot found Tomas abandoned in a church. They took the child back to Walford, leaving their address in the church.
After his mother, Anya, was arrested, the Brannings kept him, under the guise of George Merton, supposedly the son of Nick Cotton and a prison nurse. Dot was eventually persuaded to give Tomas up by her old friend Dr Legg.
