Summary
Susan appeared in the show as a very bad-tempered old trout, but mellowed as time went on to become a strong character in the Square. Susan suffered from multiple sclerosis and was cared for by her ex-husband Michael. Their relationship took an upward turn again as a result of this, and they stayed together when she was in remission. Susan left with Michael at the same time to go to Leeds, not knowing that Michael had had a fling with Lisa Shaw.
