Summary

Summer is the daughter of Dawn Swann and Rob Minter. She was born on 19 June 2007 when her mother went into labour while on a tube train, but Dawn made it to hospital in time with her friend Carly Wicks by her side.

In January 2008 her mother formed a relationship with local handyman Jase Dyer which ended in tragedy when the night before Dawn's Wedding on 26 August 2008, Jase was killed.

Also in January Dawn took her to an audition to model for a baby catalogue and then later entered Summer in a baby competition in the Queen Vic on her birtday, which she came runner up in. It was the same day that Summer found out that she was allergic to fake tan.

Summer was last seen on screen when Manda Best arrived at the flat when visiting Minty Peterson

May Returns

When Jase proposed to Summer's mum he had to go and do some work afterwards to a house owned by a woman named Jenny (who was actually May Wright). Jase did some more work for "Jenny" and bonded well with her and even talked about Summer and Dawn.

One day Jase asked "Jenny" to babysit Summer and May jumped at the chance. But on the day Summer decided to have teething problems which meant Jase coming alone to the house and telling May this. May ended up so upset that she ended up crying.

The next day Jase found May drunk on the floor drinking vodka. "Jenny" said that she once lost a baby to a different family and when asked by Jase why doesn't she go and see her, "Jenny" replied "I don't think her new mummy would like that one little bit".

When Jase had finished her house, May came round (knowing Dawn was out) to say thanks to Jase for doing it up and to say goodbye to Summer. When Dawn arrived home May snuck out the backdoor.

On Summer's 1st birthday in June 2008, May came back to Walford to attempt to take Summer away with her. When May saw Summer in fake tan, she branded Dawn a bad mother and attacked Mickey Miller and her mother Dawn and then tried to escape with Summer or Sophie as she was called by May.

Mickey woke up after being attacked by May and saved Summer from May when she was trying to bang down the door with the crowbar she had used to knock out Mickey and screamed her name and then the 3 of them hid upstairs.

May went to the kitchen and then killed herself by blowing up the house. Mickey, Summer and Dawn were trapped upstairs and Mickey tried to throw Summer out the window so she could be caught but when he fell unconscious because of his head injury and he dropped her, but was caught by Jase.
