Also known as "Wicksy", Simon worked as a barman at the Queen Victoria and Dagmar pubs. The first of Walford's pop sensations, he wrote the "hit" song performed by the Banned & was always seen playing the piano in the pub. His first serious relationship was with Magda (an older woman he stole from Den) but later he lived with Sharon Watts for a while. Cindy Beale & he had an affair resulting in oldest Beale son Stephen but after she left Ian for him, Wicksy abandoned mother & child. In 2000 Wicksy emigrated to New Zealand to be with his father (?) Kenny Beale, & in 2002 history repeated itself when Steven Beale insisted on coming to live with his "real" father.
