Summary

Sharon Watts comes and goes quite frequently on the show. She grew up above the Vic as the spoiled Princess of Den and Angie Watts. Following their divorce and Den's 'death', she stayed at the Vic as barmaid. When the Mitchells first came to Walford she hooked up with Grant, marrying him and then having an affair with Phil, which led to the demise of the marriage and her departure from the Square.

Sharon returned to Walford from Florida, and she and Phil again became an item, at least til he discovered she had hid Louise's parentage from him. Sharon, in an act of cowardice ran back to the U.S., thus making Phil's rage even worse! She returned again, hooked up with doomed fireman Tom Banks, left to stay with his mum in Ireland, returned and set up house with sister Vicki and Dennis Rickman, Vicky's half brother (the biological son of Den Watts). Shocked to discover that late dead Den wasn't dead, they lived together in Phil Mitchell's old house.

Sharon and Dennis's relationship became more than fraternal, spurring Den's efforts to part them. This he successfully, albeit temporarily, did, by impregnating Dennis's girlfriend Zoe, who pawned the baby off as Dennis's to keep him from Sharon. Sharon left Dennis to his fatherly responsibilities, until the sham was revealed, after which Dennis tracked her down. Sharon briefly confronted her father; he was murdered immediately thereafter. Sharon and Dennis returned to Walford as a couple, and married in August 2005. Sharon was devastated when she learned that Chrissie was responsible for her father's death.

After being declared the rightful heir of the Vic, she sold it to the Mitchells, and she and Dennis rented a starter flat, trying to carve a new life out for themselves. Sharon and Dennis were surprised and delighted to learn of her pregnancy, and after Johnny threatened Dennis' life after the latter learned of his role in Andy Hunter's death, Sharon convinced Dennis to leave Walford to visit Vicki in the States. Unbeknownst to Sharon, Phil provoked Dennis into assaulting Johnny, and Johnny arranged for Dennis' death. After watching her husband and her hopes die in front of her on New Year's Eve, she has sworn revenge on Johnny. After all, Phil has promised her Johnny's a dead man. Sharon is currently residing in the States.
