History
Roxy Mitchell arrived in the square all the way from Ibiza with her older sister Ronnie for the wedding reception of Stella and Phil's wedding. For the first few weeks, we saw Roxy helping Peggy out with the bar and trying to deal with the aftermath that Stella had left after the wedding.
The Days
Roxy's first big storyline came when ex-fiance Damien came over from Ibiza. However in order to get rid of him Roxy told Damien that she was expecting Ian Beale's baby and that sent him off packing. He returned in October 2007 where Roxy pretended to like him and seduce him to get money for the Scarlett night club that her and Ronnie were going to buy, however as nothing in Walford stays secret for long Damien found out about Roxy's plan but Ronnie saved Roxy from him by getting him arrested for a framed sexual assult charge. However Ronnie and Roxy let him go on the condition that he stayed out of their lives forever and he gave them the money in return. This lead to Roxy selling a £5,000 engagement ring, for a Red 4x4 and a Boxer puppy - Albert.
The Love Interests
It wasn't long Roxy to find a new love interest after Damien. After failing to link with Jase Dyer, Roxy set her eyes on Sean Slater after he saved her from a drug dealer at her Birthday Party. They managed to seduce each other after the party continuing to become a regular thing until Roxy won 'Barmaid of the Year'. This caused many arguments between Ronnie and Roxy as Sean had a past of drug history. During a big argument, we found out that Roxy was a cocaine user when she was younger. Her upset lead to Roxy getting very drunk and eventually getting into bed with Jack Branning - her sisters partner.
Pregnant and Daddy's Back
A few weeks later Roxy fainted, once after she accidentally ran over local resident Pat Butcher and a second time when she came back from the local doctor. Peggy and Ronnie made her do a pregnancy test, which came back positive, however, she decided not to tell her sister and auntie. Troubled Roxy confided in Christian Clarke about what had happened. After a few days we saw Roxy leave for the abortion clinic, however she could not go through with it. Roxy returned to The Vic to find a drunk Christian where they had a discussion about Roxy not going through with it. Not realising that Ronnie was listening in, a big row erupted between them which lead to Roxy telling Ronnie that the baby was Sean's - even though she wasn't sure. After the girls made up, they decided to flee to Ibiza as Roxy didn't want Sean to have anything to do with the baby. Sean found out about what was going on and tried to stop them. He didn't succeed.
After this the next time we saw Roxy was in Weymouth as she had fled Ibiza after an argument with Ronnie. We also met there dad Archie Mitchell. Once Ronnie and Peggy tracked them down, there were heated arguments between both Ronnie and Roxy and between Ronnie and her dad, Archie. And on one occasion it was said that Ronnie's baby girl, Amy, was dead. However Ronnie and Roxy headed back to Walford after Sean found them and had a heart to heart with Roxy. Archie and Peggy arrived back a few weeks later on the reception of Sean and Roxy's Wedding which divided the sisters even more as Ronnie hated Sean.
Baby Amy and Christmas
In late November 2008, Amy, Roxy's baby was born prematurely, Roxy named her after Ronnie's 'dead' daughter. At one point Amy nearly died and that's when Jack came back into the situation. Being disowned by most of his family Jack wanted to find out if Amy was in fact his. In true EastEnders fashion it turned out that Jack was indeed Amy's father. However with Christmas approaching fast, the letter (containing the DNA results - confirming who the father of Amy was) was forgotten about, even thought threats on Christmas day were made by Suzy Branning telling Roxy she knew about her affair and who the father of Amy was. Which indeed she did as Archie got hold of the letter and gave it to Suzy to present to Sean in some way (as payback for her lying about her 'pregnancy'). Suzy placed the DNA results in Ben Mitchell's home made Christmas crackers. Even though the Mitchells tried to tell Sean that its a wind up by Suzy it didn't stop Sean and Roxy falling out over it and in the end he found out that Jack was the father of Amy, and so did Ronnie. Ronnie and Roxy fell out big time after this however it did not stop Ronnie saving Roxy from the freezing lake which Sean took her to. This was the last time we saw Sean walking into the darkness of the night.
Secrets are no good between families
The next few months were miserable for Roxy as she didn't have Ronnie, who couldn't even look at her in the face without scowling, after finding out the true father of Amy. She had lost the love of her life, and Jack was sniffing around. The only person that made her happy was Amy. With Archie and Peggy's wedding underway Ronnie and Roxy put there differences aside, and got began to get along with each other. However the death of Danielle Jones who turned out to be Ronnie's long lost daughter, Amy, brought the two sister's together again. However their relationship is still not normal as Jack is still around and with Phil turning back to alcohol, Ben asking where he is all the time and Peggy gone on holiday.
