Summary
When viewers first met Rosa she was newly widowed following husband Giuseppe's stroke. George Palmer paid for them to start a family restaurant and also provided a house for them; he later transferred title of both to them following an engagement to Rosa. It was revealed that he and Rosa had once had an affair (which George believed had resulted in Gianni) but after much turmoil their engagement was broken and George left Walford. Rosa also had a brief relationship with waiter Jeff Healy, which fizzled out. Her only other function was as best mate to Irene Raymond. The family left in 2000, and viewers learned in 2002 that Rosa had died of a heart attack, which paved the way for Joe and Joe's departure, ostensibly to help support the other di Marcos.
