Storylines
Rainie turned up at her sister Tanya's house needing a place to stay as she was due to testify against her drug dealer in court. She claimed she was clean, but Tanya caught her trying to inject heroin in the kitchen, and gave her an utlimatum - take £500 and get out of her life for good, or stay and get drug counselling. Rainie took the money and slipped away into the night.
She returned in January 2008, just after Tanya had separated from her husband Max following his affair with Stacey Slater. Rainie stayed to support Tanya, and gave her the £500 back, proving that she was off drugs and hadn't spent it. However, she later tested positive for cannabis, and Max got social worker Derek Evans sent to Tanya's house. Tanya and Rainie argued as Rainie had jeapordised Tanya's case in the custody battle for Lauren, Abi and Oscar, and Rainie left Walford again.
She returned over two years later, turning up in Max's living room and interrupting his private time with Vanessa, unaware that Max and Tanya had separated again. Abi persuaded Max to let a seemingly clean Rainie stay the night, but Max called Tanya to come and get Rainie, telling her that Rainie was in a state. When Tanya failed to come back to Walford for Rainie, she hit the crack again, this time getting Phil Mitchell hooked as well. She stayed in Phil's house with him, getting high, smoking, drinking and having sex with him until Shirley Carter saw her off.
She returned to Walford for Tanya's wedding to Greg Jessop.
