Summary
We first met Natalie in the mid-1990s as Bianca Jackson’s best friend and rival for Ricky Butcher’s affections. After Ricky chose Bianca, Natalie left the Square to live with her sister in Basingstoke until 1999 when she returned with a glamorous new look and business (Romantic Relations). She rented office space from Barry Evans in the video hire shop, and romance bloomed as the business failed.
As mother of son Jack, Natalie seemed to be a bit disappointed with married life and returned to first love Ricky Butcher's arms but left Walford alone after discovering that he had succumbed to ex-wife Sam's charms one drunken night. Following Barry's death in Scotland, Natalie was the only Walford resident other than Paul Trueman to suspect foul play; their mutual suspicions and grief created a bond which bloomed into a passionate but short-lived romance. Once Paul had confessed his involvement in Barry's death, Natalie wanted nothing more to do with him and left Walford with toddler Jack.
