Initially Spencer Moon's contact for very dodgy goods, Mickey is now involved in every questionable business transaction the younger Walford residents transact, such as brokering Martin Fowler's marijuana, and selling Vicki Fowler bootleg brandy for Angie's Den. Mickey dated Kareena Ferreira until her departure from the Square with her family and was the driver of the van that overturned in Scotland on New Year's Eve 2003, nearly leading to the death of every Walford teen.
Mickey ran a stall with partner Juley Smith called Lords of the Bling, where they sold cheap costume jewelry. After Juley sold drugs to Kareena, the partnership ended. Mickey recently met his biological father, Mike Swann, when he visited his sister, Dawn, in France. He brought Dawn back to Albert Square with him, where she is now his partner in a market stall that sells toys. Mickey is currently acting as a dry shoulder for Keith to cry on, and is apparently torn between his parents.
