Summary
We originally met Michelle as the unwed pregnant mother-to-be who refused to reveal the name of her child's father. Although viewers knew it to be best friend Sharon Watts' father Den, the rest of the Square remained ignorant of the fact. She married local nerd Lofty Holloway but left him when her ambitions clashed with his desire for a family.
Throughout many bad romances with unsuitable men, she retained her ambition to improve her lot through education & eventually graduated from college. A final one-night stand with a Queen Vic landlord (this time best friend Sharon's husband, Grant Mitchell) made once again pregnant Michelle flee the Square in horror. She is currently living in Florida with (never-seen) son Mark Jr. and a new husband.
