Summary
Marta is a carer interviewed by Dot Branning and Carol Jackson. She began working for Dot, who continually criticised her work, which Marta beomoaned to Edward Bishop. When Dot found out that Marta was also working nights to support her alcoholic husband and family in Poland, she softened towards her, letting her catch some sleep in the spare bedroom.
