Summary
Little Mo has certainly blossomed since her first appearance in Walford. One of Charlie Slater's four natural daughters, Little Mo was until recently married to nasty Trevor. Due to his penchant for beating her, raping her, and messing about on her, she brained him with an iron on New Year's Eve, precipitating a trial and jail term. Upon her return to the Square (and Trevor's subsequent fiery death) she married long-time suitor Billy Mitchell. Although they were happy, her rape by Graham Foster and resulting pregnancy has caused a rupture with Billy.
Mo returned to the Square and she and Billy gave it another go. Ultimately, he was unable to accept Freddie (although he later had a change of heart), causing their breakup. Afterwards, her sister Kat left Alfie, and she and Alfie drew comfort from their friendship. This friendship turned to romance, which left her plagued with guilt, despite the fact that it was unconsummated. She is now working at the Vic, and trying to put her aborted romance with Alfie behind her. Freddie's teething and lack of sleep frayed her nerves, and Mo was for a while as likely to snap at you as simper at you. Little Mo recently embarked on an affair with Dr Oliver, which happiness was ruined when Freddie was discovered to have a serious brain injury. Little Mo is currently the prime suspect in this event, and she dumped Dr Oliver after he unwittingly shopped her to the social services and the police. The Slaters are being supportive, while Little Mo again feels she is coping all on her own. Little Mo was cleared by the doctors with respect to Freddie's injury, and she was relieved when Ben Mitchell confessed that he had in fact injured Freddie. Little Mo opted not to inform the police of this fact, keeping herself as a target for social services. Little Mo left Walford for Barnstable, where she will be managing a cafe run by a friend of Lynne's. In the process, she broke up with Dr. Oliver, although there were hints that they would visit each other once settled in.
