Storylines
Libby moved to Walford in May 2006 with her mother Denise and half sister Chelsea. Shortly after arriving in Walford, Libby began to secretly contact her abusive and alcoholic father, Owen. He pretended to be a changed man and Denise slept with him, but when he started drinking he hit Denise again. He was arrested, but got off after Libby begged Denise to give him a positive character reference. He kidnapped Libby and took her to a forest, where he tried to kill her by gassing the car, and when she escaped, he tried to drown her in a stream. Denise arrived just in time to save Libby and Owen was imprisoned.
She entered into a relationship with young entrepreneur Darren Miller, and after two years together, lost her virginity to him. On her eighteenth birthday, Owen's mother Liz contacted her on his behalf. Libby decided to visit him in prison, but stood by her mother when she decided that she didn't want Owen to be in their lives again.
Libby achieved straight A grades in her A levels, and got into Oxford University.
