Summary
Finally settled down with her 'Man in the Moon' Alfie, Kat was for many years a slapper with self-esteem problems. Raped at 13 by her Uncle she became pregnant and gave birth to Zoe who was adopted by Kat's parents and raised as her sister. After the truth came out at Christmas 2001, Kat attempted suicide, reconciled with ex Anthony Trueman (who happened to be engaged to daughter Zoe!), got engaged to Andy Hunter, and was involved with a number of legal storylines, ranging from Little Mo's assault trial to Charlie Slater's incarceration for his attack on Mo's rapist.
Alfie borrowed money from Andy, who threatened to kill him. Kat agreed to sleep with Andy to save Alfie's skin. Unbeknownst to her, he videotaped the whole event and sent Alfie the tape. Alfie rejected Kat and she left him. She returned not long ago and secretly rekindled her romance with Alfie. Little did she know that Alfie was also enjoying a chaste romance with her own sister, Little Mo. The recent discovery of their affair left her stunned, and though she did sleep with Alfie once after discovering it, she ultimately rejected Alfie out of loyalty to Little Mo. She spent months worrying about Zoe being shopped to the police for Den's murder, and was greatly relieved when Chrissie confessed to the crime without implicating Zoe. Kat left Walford with Alfie to start a new life.
