Summary
Viewers were introduced to Dr Leroy and his wife as Phil Mitchell's unwelcome tenants that had been fraudulently rented Phil's house by Joanne. Dr Leroy continued as a recurrent character in the role of doctor for the Square. He was the doctor who told Barry Evans that his heart was enlarged. Viewers were later informed that Dr Leroy is "on sabbatical", making room for young Dr Cousins in the Square.
