Summary
Viewers had heard about Jason long before we met him; he was Lynne Slater's first fiancée, the one who left her at the altar. Jason had spent the intervening years in Dubai but never forgot about the girl he left behind. After running into Lynne unexpectedly (and saving her from being arrested for shoplifting!) Jason and Lynne resumed their affair. Lynne nearly left Garry but decided to stay in Walford with her family. As Jason left to return to Dubai, Lynne and Garry patched things up, thus ending another pointless storyline.
