Helen first appeared as a nurse at Walford General in 2003, when Sonia Jackson travelled to hospital with a car crash victim she helped. She later appeared when Leo Taylor died in hospital. She then appeared as a midwife in 2007, delivering William Mitchell and Oscar Branning (albeit over the telephone, with Max actually delivering him.
