Storylines
In September 1995, Sanjay Kapoor left Walford to look after his dying grandfather in India. While he was away, businessman Guppy got to know his wife Gita, and put business towards her clothes stall. It then transpired that Guppy was the fiancé of Meena McKenzie, Gita's sister, who had sent him to patch thing up between them after Meena slept with Sanjay. This backfired on Meena when Guppy tried it on with Gita. Meena decided that he must have pitied her, and took him back. He conned £2000 out of Sanjay before disappearing, leving the Kapoors in debt.
