Summary
An old love interest of Ethel Skinner, who had loved her during World War II, although she was married.
Ernie appeared as Ian Beale's boxing coach, and Ethel accompanied Ian to the gym as boxing was her favourite sport.
Ernie and Ethel began courting, and he asked her to marry him, however, Ethel's beloved pug Willy would have to go. Ethel declined his offer and Ernie didn't appear again.
