Summary
In 2005 Dawn came on the scene in France, where she invited Mickey to visit her. Garry Hobbs and Minty Peterson also attended Mickey's trip to France and both were attracted to Dawn. It turned out that she was staying with their biological father, a surprise she sprung on Mickey, to his suprise.
She returned to Albert Square with Mickey, where she promptly earned the animosity of several residents after a collection taken up to help her obtain private medical care was used for a boob job.
She is now Mickey's partner on the stall, but that hasn't prevented her from coaxing Darren to lie to a child-labour investigator and blackmailing Ian to give Darren his after-school job back.
Dawn was enjoying her siblings' found money, but now believes it has gone up and smoke along with the sofa in which is was stashed (her father actually took it).
Dawn's ego recently took a blow when she was rejected by a randy wine merchant for any purpose other that a quick shag. Another disappointment was in store, however, when she learned that she was too short, too old, and not striking enough to be considered modelling material.
Rob and May
In 2006 Ian Beale employed Dawn to be his fake wife to impress some business friends of his.
While there Dawn met Rob Minter and they started dating. Dawn knew he was separated but Rob ended things with Dawn when Rob told her that his wife had asked him to give their marriage another chance.
Soon after Dawn found she was pregnant whith his child and was going to have an abortion. When Rob's wife, May Wright found out (who was also the local doctor), she asked Dawn to sell her the baby for £19,000 because May couldn't have children of her own and Dawn accepted the money. When Rob turned Dawn down when she tried it on with him, she again decided to have an abortion.
May found out and told Rob to start up the affair again so they can keep Dawn sweet until they steal the baby. Eventually Rob confessed what they were going to do to and Dawn tried to miscarry the baby.
She was unsuccessful, but it made Rob dump May and choose Dawn and they eventually moved in together. May played various tricks on Rob and Dawn including getting Rob sacked and evicting them from their flat. Unable to choose between the two women, Rob had sex with May but then proposed to Dawn, suggesting they move away from Walford, but this was all just part of May's plan and Rob took Dawn to an empty house where she was handcuffed to a bed while May planned to perform a caesarean section.
Dawn managed to escape and returned to Walford where went into labour on the London Underground, later giving birth to a girl, who she called Summer. While Dawn recovered in hospital, May snuck into her room and tried to take Summer but Dawn caught her before she could escape with the child. Despite Rob's pleas, Dawn refused to take him back and May was arrested by the police whilst attempting to see Summer.
