Summary
David came to Albert Square upon the death of his father, Pete, and moved in with Pat and Frank Butcher. A handsome lady killer with no sense of commitment, David had fathered Bianca with Carol Branning at 15, later married Lorraine Wicks fathering Joe and Karen but abandoned them, eventually to return to Walford.
Pat made him a partner in the car lot, and he became involved with Cindy Beale. This ended when Cindy tried to murder Ian Beale to facilitate their affair and he left Walford again, once again abandoning son Joe who was now schizophrenic!
