Storylines

Danielle arrived in Walford looking for a job, as she had just moved to London from Telford. She befriended Stacey Slater and moved in with her, and developed a crush on Callum Monks. She got jobs on Stacey's stall and cleaning The Queen Vic, and became embroiled in the feud between Archie and Ronnie Mitchell. Archie got Danielle to steal Ronnie's post, and when Ronnie discovered this she sacked Danielle. Danielle was later seen crying clutching a locket bearing a photo of a teenaged Ronnie, thus revealing herself as the daughter Ronnie gave up for adoption when she was fourteen.

Danielle attempted to leave Walford but was stopped by Stacey, who she then fell out with, leading to Danielle squatting in a flat owned by Ian Beale. When Ronnie rented the flat and discovered Danielle in there, she stopped her getting in trouble with Ian. Danielle then admitted to Ronnie that she was pregnant by Paul and Ronnie told her that having her baby was the biggest mistake of her life. Ronnie called Danielle's adoptive father Andy, who tried to persuade Danielle to return to Telford, but she refused. She made up with Stacey, and decided to get an abortion, which Ronnie attends with her. Following her abortion, Danielle returned to Telford for a while, before returning to Walford.

Danielle's grandfather, Archie discovered her true identity, and when Danielle decided to tell Ronnie the truth, tried his hardest to stop her, as he had already lied to his daughter that her baby had died as a toddler. He told Danielle that Ronnie was depressed, and a shock like that could drive her to suicide. Eventually, after much stalling from Archie, Danielle revealed all to Ronnie at Archie and Peggy's wedding reception. Ronnie refused to believe her and threw her out. When she found Danielle's locket in her champagne flute, she realised Danielle was not lying, and chased after her daughter. When she caught up with her, she called out to her, and as Danielle made her way across the road to Ronnie, she was run over accidentally by Janine Butcher, and died in Ronnie's arms.
