Summary
Conor was Mary Flaherty's ne'er-do-well father, who charmed Ruth Fowler right from the start when they met in Ireland. Soon after Mary came to Walford, Conor turned up as well, creating problems in Mark and Ruth's marriage. Eventually Ruth became pregnant by Conor and decided to return to Scotland, taking Conor (and Mary) with her. During Conor's stint in Albert Square, he worked for Phil Mitchell at the Arches, and as muscle for Annie Palmer during the ill-fated foray into the protection rackets.
