Summary
A member of Billie Jackson's gang, along with Kylie and Mitch, Connor had known Billie since they were 15 and living on a rough estate in Balham. When Billie moved to Walford, Connor, Kylie and Mitch caused trouble for him, threatening his new girlfriend Whitney and persuading him to join an armed robbery of The Vic. Things finally came to a head when Billie chose Whitney over his old friends, and Kylie went to R&R to shoot Billie. She shot Jack Branning, Billie's uncle, instead, and was arrested.
Connor later appeared at Billie's birthday party, where Billie drank so much that he was found dead the next day. Billie's mother Carol then visited Connor, blaming him for her son's death. Connor, Mitch and the rest of their gang then tried to attend the funeral, but Carol and Bianca banned them from going. After the funeral, Connor went round to confront Carol, and found her about to take an overdose to end her life. They both broke down and ended up having sex. Connor was next seen at Kylie's sentencing, where he clashed with Jack and Carol. After Carol was given Billie's ashes, she went to ask Connor where Billie would have liked them scattered. She discovered that he was homeless, and allowed him to move in with her and Glenda Mitchell at 29b Albert Square. They started a secret relationship, though Bianca was very vocal about her mistrust for Connor, Carol always defended him. Connor got a job working for Phil Mitchell, stealing cars and selling stolen jewellery. He tried to short change Jay when handing over some money for Phil, but Jay ended up beating him up. Connor then got Whitney (who he had been flirting with) involved in the stolen jewellery scam, by giving her some to sell on her market stall. She later hid some of it in Pat's house for him, but Bianca found it and threw it down the drain. Connor started seeing Carol and Whitney at the same time, until the truth came out and Bianca attacked him with a metal pole. When he was in hospital, his mother Kendra told Carol to leave his bedside, and he said that he didn't need Carol anymore. Carol later visited him when Whitney went missing, and realised she had only been with him because of her grief over Billie. Connor tried to make a move on her but she rejected him. After this, Carol was able to scatter Billie's ashes.
