Summary
Mrs Hewitt was a rather stereotypical upper-middle-class widow with a lazy teenage son and a large garden. She hired Arthur Fowler to help with the garden, but she eventually ended up helping him, in ways that Pauline was certainly unhappy about! After Pauline brained Arthur with a frying pan, Mrs Hewitt did a quick fade into Albert Square mythology.
