Summary
Detective Chief Inspector who originally investigated the shooting of Ian Beale in 1996, but couldn't prove anything, and so Cindy was not charged. However following Annie Palmer and Ros Thorne's visit to John Valecue in prison, there was sufficient evidence, and Cindy was arrested for conspiracy to murder.
Mason subsequently investigated Tiffany Mitchell's fall at the Queen Vic. Not surprisingly DCI Mason reappeared when Saskia Duncan was killed.
