Offered to became partners, with Barry Evans, in Evans and Son. Barry wasn't interested, but Janine was, so she manipulated the deal. At the last minute, it was discovered that he was double-crossing both of them and Janine stopped the transaction, thus winning Barry's everlasting gratitude.
