Summary
Arrival
Bradley arrived in Walford after accepting a job in the East End. He arranged to stay with his grandfather Jim in Walford.
He went out with Stacey Slater and Deano Wicks on his first night in Walford, where he immediately became the suspect when Stacey's drink was spiked. Set free after Deano's confession, Bradley started his new job in the city.
Stacey
He entered into a tumultuous semi-courtship with Stacey. Bradley and Stacey then consummated their relationship, but bliss did not last long, as, shortly after, Bradley was confronted with his estranged father, Max, who decided to make a fresh start in Walford.
Over the following months, Bradley and Max, and later his new family, built bridges, even surviving a visit by Bradley's wronged mother, Rachel. Meanwhile, Bradley and Stacey's relationship was going strong, even managing to get over an accidental pregnancy and subsequent abortion, which later on Bradley revealed he regretted. They made plans to move in together, and did so when Ruby decided to occupy Jake's old place. With her departure, the couple moved out.
Trouble began for the couple with Bradley being tasked with his company's Christmas party. Bradley deceived Stacey into not accompanying him - when she discovered him, she went to it, utterly wasted, and humiliated him thoroughly. He broke up with her almost immediately and started dating posh colleague Lydia and later Preeti Choraria. Stacey, meanwhile began an affair with Max, which carried on until Max ended the affair by taking his family to Spain for six weeks.
While Max was away, Bradley and Stacey reconciled and got engaged, They married later in the year, but Stacey had one last kiss with Max, which was recorded by Lauren's hidden camcorder. Lauren gave Bradley the DVD of the kiss for Christmas 2007, which he played to the whole family, revealing Max and Stacey's affair.
Life After Stacey
After the affair reveal he moved away from Walford for a couple of months, but was tracked down by Stacey and Bradley asked her for a divorce.
He then moved back to Walford and struck up a friendship with Clare Bates, but turned her down when she came onto him. In June 2008, Stacey's mum Jean and Dot schemed to get Bradley and Stacey back together by locking them in a house together. They reunited for a while until Stacey kissed newcomer Callum Monks, and they separated again.
Bradley is currently going out with Syd Chambers and has moved away from Walford to live in Canada with Syd and her Son.
Kathy's Cafe Siege
Bradley was caught up in the siege at the cafe which was caused by Nick Cotton during a violent and drunken rampage. Lucy Beale and Heather Trott were minding the cafe in the absence of Christian Clarke when Nick burst in with Dotty and took everyone hostage.
With Lucy and Heather unable to gain access to the kitchen, the chip pan eventually caught fire. It was only then that a stranger who had been talking to Whitney Dean managed to overpower Nick knocking him to the floor and started fighting with him allowing everyone including Bradley to escape. Whitney's friend also eventually escaped leaving just Nick in the cafe lying on the floor bloodied and bruised.
Once outside the cafe, Bradley decided that he could not just stand aside and allow Nick to die in there. He ran back into the cafe despite members of his family begging him not to so he could rescue Nick. Nick decided though that he didn't want rescuing as he knew he would be sent to prison for this and made good his escape out the back of the cafe so to avoid the Police. Bradley then became trapped in the fire and could not escape before the cafe exploded.
Bradley spent a week in hospital and thankfully is now on the road to recovery with no lasting damage. Nick is still on the run.
Canada
Syd is offered a job in Canada, and Noah responds by running away. Bradley and Syd find him at the arcade, playing car games. Syd throws a party to celebrate her and Bradley leaving for Canada, despite Bradley not revealing this to his family yet. At the party, Stacey tells Bradley that she has bipolar disorder to which Bradley wishes he could have been there for her. He tells Syd he is not ready to leave his family and she suspects that Stacey put him off, however, he later tells Syd he wants to go to Canada. They hold a leaving party and leave on 9 October 2009. Bradley telephones Dot to say they have arrived safely.
Return From Canada And Getting Back With Stacey
Bradley, Syd and Noah came back to Walford after Bradley's mother, Rachel Branning is in a car crash. This is also the time that Stacey is to come back home and Jean manages to get Bradley to come help and collect her. After talking to Stacey, Bradley realises he still loves Stacey and breaks the relationship off with Syd and says goodbye to Noah.
Christmas Day
On Christmas Day, Stacey reveals to Bradley that she is pregnant, but he isn't the father, Archie Mitchell is and that he raped her. Bradley gets angry and goes to confront Archie in the Queen Vic where he ends up punching Archie twice and then leaves, Archie is then murdered later that night leaving Bradley one of the suspects (only the viewer knows this). When police ask about when Stacey and Bradley last saw Archie, they both lie. They also tell everyone that Bradley is the father and that they had a fling months before. However Jean ends up working thins out soon after and she realises Bradley isn't the father.
Death And Events Leading Up To It
At the re-opening of the Queen Vic (now run by Roxy Mitchell) Bradley starts getting nervous and ends up leaving early, however he didn't need to panic, Ian Beale ended up getting arrested.
Bradley and Stacey go to the funeral of Archie Mitchell (along with half the square) with the police watching and at the end Stacey spits on his coffin and Bradley has to drag her away.
