Summary
The son of Laura and Ian Beale, Bobby had a tumultuous infancy. His mother was thrown out on the street at Christmas 2002 because Ian did not believe that he was Bobby's father. Garry Hobbs did believe that he had fathered Bobby, however, and fulfilled that role until Laura died in April 2004. Following her death, Bobby's true paternity was revealed, and he moved in with Ian, half siblings Peter and Lucy and Ian's wife Jane.
Bobby has since followed in his half siblings' footsteps and attends Walford Primary. He is close to his stepmother, Jane, and calls her "Mum". In 2010, Ian suggested that Jane adopt Bobby.
