Summary
Barry was a market trader who loved 50's rock and roll and older graphic artist Colin Russell. Despite being as different as 2 gay men can be, Barry & Colin seemed happy except for Barry's fear that his bigoted father would discover they were more than flatmates! Luckily older brother Graham was on Barry & Colin's side but the stress as well as Barry's friendship with Donna Ludlow eventually destroyed the relationship. Barry disappeared just before Colin was diagnosed with MS & written off of the show.
