Summary
The beloved grandson of Dot Cotton, Ashley was a little too much like his father Nick for comfort. Mark Fowler did his best to steer Ashley onto the straight and narrow, but need for his father's approval often drove Ash to become involved in Nick's nefarious schemes. Unfortunately, the last one (sabotaging the brakes on Mark's bike) backfired when Ashley stole the bike and crashed it, killing himself and leaving mother Zoe and grandmother Dot bereft.
