Summary
Carol Jackson's elder sister returned to London after 8 years of living in Greece selling timeshares. She invited Carol and Alan to her wedding with Greek Nikos. Carol was reluctant to go to the wedding because of her father Jim and brother Derek's racist views towards Alan and Billie, however Alan persuaded her to go and April asked Sonia to be her bridesmaid. On the wedding day, Nikos jilted April at the altar, and Carol and Alan married in their place.
April later moved to Walford and caught the eye of market inspector Michael Rose. She started working in the café for Kathy and while working there, realised that Alan was having an affair with Frankie Pierre. She told Carol, which resulted in Carol and Alan splitting up.
April continued to romance Michael and was about to move in with him when Nikos showed up begging for another chance. She married him and returned to Greece. It was mentioned in 2007 that she was still living in Greece.
