Summary
The young, hunky yet shy local doctor, Anthony has a skeleton in his closet relating to brother Paul. He had a romance with Kat Slater which ended after his declaration of love, and once had to turn down a partnership in his office because he needed the money to pay Paul’s debts. He was devoted to mother Audrey until her death and continued to help run the B&B she once owned along with brother Paul and (long-lost) Father Patrick.
At one time, he and Zoe Slater were to be married and move to Edinburgh, but she ran off so he turned to her mum Kat as an alternative. Luckily for him, Kat called it off but not before many sappy scenes and declarations of undying love. Dr Trueman left Walford after causing the death of a patient in his care while on shift at the hospital.
