In 1989 Frank Butcher turned a tyre yard into a second hand car dealership and started to run a taxi cab firm from the office with his then wife Pat Evans. After a while business started to slow and in the end Frank paid Phil Mitchell to burn it down, not realising a homeless man was in there, who in the fire died, this made Frank run off. Pat soon took control with her son David Wicks.
Pat found love with Roy Evans and ended up giving him a share along with Roy's son Barry Evans.
After Barry and Roy died, Janine inherited the car lot from Barry's will, however she gave control to the Ferreira family when she was put in prision for the death of Laura Beale. The Ferreira's couldn't make it work and so Patrick Trueman then rented it off the Mitchells.
Soon Kevin Wicks and then Darren Miller took over the business, however Jack Branning cheated Darren and gave control of it to Archie Mitchell until his death a few months later.
In Archie's will, he left his daughter Roxy Mitchell the car lot and has now rented it to Max Branning and Bradley Branning as of January 2010.
